Stop carrying the chore list in your head.
FreshChores is a gentle, shared task system for households that don't run on rigid schedules. No guilt. No falling behind. Just a living pool of things that need doing when you're ready.
For individuals, families, couples, roommates, and neurodivergent households who want less pressure and more flow.

This isn't a chore schedule.
Most chore apps assume everyone lives the same kind of life — evenly spaced days, predictable energy, constant motivation.
Real life doesn't work like that.
FreshChores keeps a shared pool of household tasks that gently flows over time. Tasks don't disappear because you missed a day. Nothing yells at you for falling behind. The system waits for you.
When you have energy, you pick something up. When you don't, the list is still there tomorrow.
Designed for real households
A living task pool
Tasks are always available based on how often they actually need to be done. Recently completed tasks rest. Older ones rise naturally.
Shared responsibility
If one person completes a task, it's done for everyone. No double work. No silent resentment.
Tasks fit people
Some tasks are better for certain people. FreshChores lets you reflect that without judgment or rules.
Atomic and low-friction
Everything is broken down into small, doable actions. A few minutes here and there adds up to a healthier home.

Chores don't happen one at a time.
You start a load of laundry, wipe the counter, move to the living room, come back to swap the laundry, and sweep the kitchen floor on the way.
Most chore apps ignore this. They give you a checklist and expect you to work through it top to bottom.
FreshChores works the way chores actually happen.
Start a few things. Move between rooms. Finish what you can. Come back to the rest later. The app holds your place and keeps everything together until you're done.
A workspace for getting things done
Start a few tasks and FreshChores creates a simple session workspace so you can move through them without losing track.
Perfect for
- Cleaning multiple rooms
- Doing a kitchen reset
- Tackling weekend maintenance
- Quick evening resets

Start a few things at once

Work through them together

Finish naturally

Tasks have a rhythm.
Some things happen daily. Some weekly. Some only when you notice they need doing.
FreshChores keeps track of each task's rhythm and surfaces it when it's relevant again. No rigid schedules, no due dates — just a natural cadence that adapts to how your household actually works.
Weekday tasks show up on weekdays. Weekend tasks wait for the weekend. Infrequent tasks stay in the pool until the moment you have energy for them.
Track earnings for chores
Some families want to connect chores to allowance or other recognition. FreshChores can (optionally) help with that.
Assign a dollar amount (or points) to any task. When kids complete those tasks, the earnings add to their balance. Parents can settle balances whenever it makes sense — weekly, monthly, or on request.
There are no leaderboards, no badges, no streaks. Just a quiet ledger that tracks contribution and lets you honor your commitments.
This feature is off by default. Enable it in settings if your household wants it.
